Copyright is a branch of industrial property law and protects the intellectual creations of artists, authors and other creators. It guarantees them the exclusive right to use, exploit and distribute their works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Copyright Act (UrhG) regulates the protection periods, the rights of authors, the remuneration of authors and the exploitation of their works. It also protects the moral rights of authors, such as the right to recognition and the right to the integrity of their works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, copyright law ensures that the intellectual creations of artists, authors and other creators are protected and that they are able to profit from their works.
