We know that cost certainty is almost as important to many of our clients as high quality advice. We respond to this by offering not only fairly calculated hourly rates, but also a whole range of alternative remuneration models tailored to the individual needs of our clients. In this way, we ensure that you are just as satisfied with our fees as you are with our legal advice.
Free initial contact
Your first contact by telephone or e-mail is always non-binding and free of charge. Before we take on a mandate, you will receive a concrete offer from us based on the expected workload. This gives you full cost control and transparency.
Costs of the initial consultation
The initial consultation follows the first contact. It includes clarification of the facts of the case as well as an initial legal assessment including specific recommendations for action. An initial consultation costs EUR 299 net. In the event that the case requires extensive examination and additional work, we will make you an individual offer in advance. This gives you full cost control and transparency.
You can easily commission us with an initial consultation using our contact form.
Our remuneration models
Our lean structure allows us to offer you our advice at attractive hourly rates. You also benefit from the fact that we solve your problems quickly and routinely. Unnecessary and expensive additional work for familiarization with standard problems can thus be avoided.
For many activities, our experience enables us to precisely estimate the expected workload (example: trademark applications). This allows us to offer you processing at a fairly calculated fixed price. This gives you full cost control.
Unless we agree otherwise, the statutory provisions of the German Lawyers’ Fees Act (RVG) apply. Depending on the value of the matter in dispute, the RVG provides for fee elements when certain milestones are reached, which ensure that the economic interests of clients and advisors are fairly reconciled.
We are committed to aligning our billing with the needs of our clients as far as possible. If you have an alternative remuneration model in mind, we would be happy to discuss it with you.
Reimbursement of costs by the other party
In court proceedings, the principle applies that the unsuccessful party must bear the costs of the successful party. This means that the client initially pays our fee and can claim reimbursement from the defendant in the amount of the statutory fees once the court proceedings have been successfully concluded.
Legal expenses insurance
We also bill the legal expenses insurance company. Please note, however, that the client is always our client and the legal expenses insurance will only reimburse the costs in full or in part. It is also possible that the specific case is not covered by your insurance. For this reason, you should obtain a confirmation of cover at an early stage.
We are happy to take care of the correspondence with the legal expenses insurance company (e.g. obtaining a cover note), but reserve the right to charge for the time we spend on this. As a client, you can therefore save money if you take care of the correspondence yourself.
